Selection process
There is no competition, no pitch round and no ranking of applicants against one another. The Department of Industries and Commerce screens each claim against the fairs clause of TIIPIS 2022.
The verification covers:
- that the claimant is an eligible industrial enterprise;
- that the event is a State level or national level fair, or that prior approval exists for an international fair;
- that travel has been claimed for one person only, with goods transport on top of it;
- that the claim stays within the ₹1 lakh ceiling for that participation;
- that no more than two fairs have been claimed during the year.
Where a claim breaks the one-person travel rule, the per-participation limit or the yearly participation count, it is trimmed or refused. Once verified, 50% of eligible costs is reimbursed, capped at ₹1 lakh for that fair.
