There is no single closing date — the policy window runs from 1 October 2024 to 29 September 2029 and applications are treated as rolling. What matters is the clock running on each unit: registration must be applied for within one year of loan disbursement, the start of production or the policy's operative date, whichever comes last, and the certification claim must be made within a year of the certification date. Eligibility certificate applications follow one year from the date of commercial production, or from the Government Resolution or registration certificate, whichever is later.

The process is offline. You first file the prescribed-format application with the Industries Commissioner together with your supporting documents to obtain registration. Once you have your date of commercial production, you apply for a Provisional or Final Eligibility Certificate to the authority that matches your unit's category.

The Industries Commissioner's office scrutinises the registration papers against the prescribed procedure and issues a registration certificate if everything is in order. The eligibility application then goes to the relevant authority, which verifies that actual expenses were incurred on recognised certification and testing equipment and that the documentation is complete. Once that is confirmed, the eligibility certificate is issued and the reimbursement is processed.
