How to Apply for Employment Subsidy Scheme, 2017 — Goa Wage Subsidy up to ₹50L

There is no competitive shortlisting or ranking round here. Instead, claims are examined by the Directorate of Industries, Trade and Commerce (DITC), Goa, which verifies whether the enterprise and the Goan employees named in the claim actually meet the scheme's conditions.

That scrutiny covers the classification of the unit as a manufacturing industry or a hinterland eco-tourism project, the Goan manpower percentage maintained, the age and salary position of each employee claimed, and whether the same benefit is being taken anywhere else under a central or state scheme.

The enterprise is also expected to allow DITC officials to inspect its records and employee details. Sanction follows once all specified conditions are satisfied, and it is subject to the availability of budgetary allocation.
