Selection process

Applications are filed with the Directorate of Industries, Trade and Commerce (DITC) and then pass through several layers of scrutiny.

  • Initial screening. DITC verifies that the application form is complete and that every supporting document is authentic.

  • Eligibility assessment. The applicant is measured against the scheme's conditions — that the unit or institution operates in Goa and genuinely holds the certification or IPR being claimed.

  • Task Force Committee review. A dedicated committee examines the certifications and intellectual property rights put forward, decides whether they are valid and acceptable, and fixes the final reimbursement amount after applying the ceilings and accounting for any Central Government assistance already received.

  • Disbursal. Funds are released subject to budgetary allocations and to the applicant complying with all conditions of the scheme.
