How to Apply for UP Chain Outlets Financial Assistance: Up to ₹12 Cr Grant

A dedicated committee handles selection. It comprises officials from the Department of MSME and Export Promotion, Government of Uttar Pradesh, and may be joined by external experts. Applications move through the following stages:

• Initial scrutiny: the application is checked for completeness and for basic compliance with the eligibility conditions set out in the policy.
• Technical and financial assessment: reviewers examine whether the business plan is feasible, how strong the brand's market potential is, whether the chain outlet model can scale, and how robust the financial projections and sales strategy look.
• Due diligence and verification: company registration, founder details and the operating status of existing outlets may be verified, and site visits can be conducted to confirm outlet numbers and reported sales.
• Committee review and recommendation: the committee weighs the full assessment and recommends assistance, taking into account impact, innovation and how well the proposal fits the policy's objectives.
• Final approval: recommendations go to the competent authority, which sanctions the assistance on the basis of merit, policy compliance and the funds available.

Shortlisted applicants may also be invited to give a presentation or attend an interview to explain their plans.
