Selection process
There is no competition here, no pitch round and no ranking of applicants against each other.
- The Department of Industries and Commerce screens every claim filed under the ZED clause of TIIPIS 2022.
- Three things are checked: Udyam registration, ZED certification issued by the Ministry of MSME, and documentary evidence of the investment made in plant and machinery.
- The verified investment figure serves only to place the unit on the correct slab — ₹2.00 lakhs, ₹5.00 lakhs or ₹10.00 lakhs. The investment figure is not itself the award.
- A unit that lacks Udyam registration or ZED certification is treated as ineligible.
- Once verification is complete, the one-time extra subsidy is released on the matching slab.
