Selection process

Applications are reviewed in a three-step process:

  1. Scrutiny: A Nodal Officer at the Karnataka Startup Cell closely examines the application along with supporting documents (financial records, invoices, tax returns) to verify eligibility and accuracy.
  2. Calculation: The Karnataka Startup Cell calculates the exact eligible reimbursement amount based on the net tax paid, applying the turnover cap and any policy guidelines.
  3. Sanction: Once the amount is determined, the Managing Director, KBITS issues a formal sanction order to approve the payout. Their decision is final.
