How to Apply for MICE Convention Centre cum Hotel Capital Subsidy — Up to ₹10 Crore (MP)

Assessment here is verification-based rather than competitive pitching — there is no panel round or ranking against other applicants. The steps run in this order:

1. Registration on the state portal. Create a "Vendor / Investor" account on the Madhya Pradesh Government's Invest Portal, entering your type of organisation, the firm or company name and the authorised person's name, along with an email ID and mobile number.
2. Profile completion. Your Application Number, User ID and password are sent to that registered mobile number and email. Log in with those credentials and finish your profile before applying for the scheme.
3. Permissions. Obtain all mandatory permissions through the online single-window system within the stipulated time frames.
4. Build and commence operations. Complete construction so that the minimum capital expenditure of ₹20 crore is met, then begin commercial operations and retain proof of operating status.
5. File the subsidy claim. Submit the capital subsidy application online within one year from the date of commencement of commercial operation, uploading every required document in the specified format (photographs, for example, must be in JPG).
6. Departmental verification. The Tourism Department / Board examines the application and documents, checking the capital expenditure actually incurred, conformity with Government of India standards for convention centres, and the seating capacity of the main hall.
7. Disbursement. Once verification is satisfactory, the subsidy claim is processed for release.
