Selection process
Claims follow a fixed route before any reimbursement is released.
- Proposal and training. The employer prepares a training proposal with the Skill Training Provider, covering course content, duration, number of trainees, on-site training arrangements and the infrastructure required. The STP determines the course fee, which the employer pays.
- Claim filing. The employer downloads and completes the scheme's application form, recording the unit's Umbrella Scheme registration number, STP details, the course name, the number of eligible Goan trainees aged 18 to 42, the fees paid and the reimbursement claimed. The form goes offline to the Directorate of Industries, Trade & Commerce, Udyog Bhavan, Panaji, with the supporting documents listed in the scheme checklist.
- Scrutiny. The Task Force Committee (TFC) examines the application and recommends the units that qualify for reimbursement.
- Disbursement. Payment follows the TFC's recommendation and is subject to the budget allocation available.
