• Read the Incentives Guide first. Section 7 sets out the terms, conditions and eligibility for this reimbursement and forms part of the Tourism Policy 2019.
• Assemble your documents. You will need proof of your Tourism Unit registration, original rent receipts or invoices, evidence that you took part in the event (passes, photographs or official correspondence) and your bank details.
• Complete the prescribed claim form for incentives under the Tourism Policy 2019, filling every field accurately and making all declarations truthfully.
• Submit the application with the supporting papers to the designated authority — normally the Department of Tourism, Government of Himachal Pradesh, or a nodal agency named in the policy — within any timeframe stipulated for the financial year.
• Await verification and disbursement. The department reviews the submission and may come back to you for clarifications or extra documents before the approved amount is transferred to your registered bank account.
