Selection process
Startups interested in the Patent Cost Reimbursement Scheme must submit their applications through the official Invest Haryana portal. The application package typically requires a valid DPIIT certificate, detailed patent documentation, invoices from patent attorneys, records of payments made, and the startup's bank account details.
Upon submission, the Department of Industries & Commerce undertakes a thorough verification process. This involves checking the startup's eligibility against the policy criteria and confirming the successful filing or grant of the patent. Once approved, eligible startups will receive the reimbursement, covering up to 100% of their patent costs, with a maximum limit of ₹25 lakh.
