How to Apply for Gujarat Integrated Logistics Facilities Scheme — Electricity Duty Exemption

For offline applicants the journey has two clear milestones — registration and sanction.

Registration

1. Submit the application in the prescribed form along with the required documents to the Industries Commissionerate.

2. The Industries Commissionerate reviews the papers and, if anything is missing, asks for it within 15 days.

3. The file is then forwarded to the General Manager of the District Industries Centre (DIC), who carries out a site visit and files an inspection report.

4. On the basis of that report, the Industries Commissionerate may issue a Registration Certificate.

Sanction

1. After registration and approval of the project layout plan, submit the sanction application in the prescribed format with a detailed project report and the required documents.

2. The Industries Commissionerate scrutinises the application and requests any missing details within 15 days.

3. The applicant presents the project before a Screening Committee chaired by the Industries Commissioner.

4. Once the committee's remarks are addressed, the Sanctioning Authority reviews the proposal against the scheme guidelines and takes the approval decision.

Applications can also be filed online through the Investor Facilitation Portal, where registration is followed by login and submission of the business details and mandatory documents.
