How much funding can I receive through this program?
Winners share a prize pool of up to ₹20 lakh. High-potential startups may access further funding up to ₹1 crore through the EarthON Gurukul accelerator, and eligible FPCs can get debt funding up to ₹25 lakh through the ONganic Accelerator.
What is the application deadline?
The challenge is rolling / always open, meaning there is no fixed deadline. You can apply at any time.
Who is eligible to apply?
Registered startups and SMEs incorporated within the last 10 years with prototype, pilot-tested, or market-ready solutions are eligible. Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs) with at least two years of operations and active farmer membership are also eligible, but the FPC track focuses on Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh.
Is there any equity taken by the program?
No, the program awards prizes and facilitates access to further funding without taking equity. The cash prize is non-repayable, and the debt funding for FPCs is also non-dilutive.
What stage of development should my solution be at?
Solutions can be at prototype, pilot-tested, or market-ready stage. The program is open to pre-seed to growth-stage innovations that are climate-smart and scalable.
Do I need DPIIT or MSME registration?
The eligibility criteria do not mention DPIIT or MSME registration as a requirement, but you must be a registered startup or SME (or FPC) to apply.
