How to Apply for Goa State Logistics & Warehousing Scheme: Quality Upgrade Subsidy up to ₹5L

Application received and screened. The Directorate of Industries, Trade and Commerce reviews the form and the attached documents for completeness and basic compliance, and raises queries with the applicant if anything is missing or unclear.

On-site inspection. Once the paperwork is found satisfactory, a designated official inspects the entity and verifies the records and documents against a verification-cum-recommendation checklist. This covers alignment with the certified quality benchmarks as well as the local employment requirement. The inspection report is uploaded to the portal within 48 hours.

Due diligence by Goa-IPB. The file then goes to the Chief Executive Officer, Goa Investment Promotion and Facilitation Board (Goa-IPB), who examines the claim and provides a recommendation.

Appraisal note. On the strength of that recommendation, the Directorate prepares the appraisal note.

Incentive Review Committee. The note is placed before the Incentive Review Committee, which meets to deliberate on the application, scrutinise the claim and sanction the incentive.

Approval and disbursement. After the committee's recommendation, the Directorate prepares the approval note for the Accounts Department, which releases the incentive amount. From the day the application is received to the day the money is disbursed, the process is designed to finish within a maximum of 90 days.
