How to apply

Selection process

Approval here is administrative rather than competitive. Once an application is filed on the Goa Online Portal, the Directorate of Industries, Trade and Commerce (DITC) takes it up, processes it and verifies both the eligibility conditions and the documents attached.

The project cost is a key checkpoint. It has to be approved by a recognised Financial Institution and by a Chartered Accountant empanelled for this purpose, which establishes financial compliance and project viability before any sanction is issued.

The payroll mix also feeds into the decision. The share of Goan employees on the applicant's rolls determines whether the full 100% of the calculated benefit is sanctioned or the 80% rate applies.

Authorised DITC officials may carry out on-site inspection or supervision of the unit and its records to confirm that the granted incentive has been put to proper use.

The full cycle, from application receipt to disbursement, is targeted for completion within 90 days, and sanctioned claims are released in chronological order following due procedure.
