How to apply

Applications are submitted on the . Confirm the current deadline and document checklist there before you start.

Selection process

Every application is checked on two levels before any money moves.

  • Scrutiny (within 30 days): the application is examined against a checklist within 30 days of being received. This stage looks at whether the unit meets the eligibility conditions and whether the supporting documents are complete and in order.
  • Empowered Committee approval (within 60 days): the scrutinised application is then placed before an Empowered Committee, which is expected to decide within 60 days of receipt.
  • Final decision and disbursement (within 90 days): the outcome is normally communicated within 90 days of the application being received — either a sanction order releasing the reimbursement, or a letter regretting the application. Disbursement follows the sanction.

Because the assessment hinges on eligibility and documentation, units should make sure the certification proof, expenditure records and Aadhaar-linked bank details are all uploaded correctly at the time of submission.
