Selection process

Every DDUSY application starts online and then passes through more than one layer of scrutiny, because public money and bank lending are both involved.

  • Online submission: the application form and supporting documents are filed through the official portal.
  • District Level Screening Committee (DLSC) evaluation: the DLSC, working in coordination with the participating banks, is the body that evaluates and selects beneficiaries.
  • APIIP recommendation: for the specially reserved quota of 50 beneficiaries, the Arunachal Pradesh Innovation & Investment Park identifies and recommends eligible startups — those that have been entrepreneurially trained and whose projects are well defined.
  • Bank appraisal and final disbursement: financial assistance is released strictly according to DDUSY guidelines and after a thorough bank appraisal.

Preference is extended to projects that align with state development goals — for instance, units located in border community development blocks or manufacturing units — and to applicants who hold relevant educational qualifications or who contribute more than the mandatory 30% own share.
