Selection process

There is no competitive selection round here — this is a reimbursement scheme, so the route is claim, verification and disbursal.

  • Read the policy first. Go through the Chhattisgarh Industrial Development Policy 2024-30, and in particular Section 10, for the guidelines, eligibility conditions and the documentation the department expects.
  • Confirm your eligibility. Check that the unit qualifies as a new Pharma sector industry, that you have a commercial production or operational activity date on record, and that the employees you intend to claim for meet the domicile and wage conditions.
  • Run the training. Deliver eligible training programmes for your skilled and semi-skilled employees in line with the policy guidelines.
  • Maintain records. Keep employee appointment records, domicile proof, monthly wage details, training expense invoices and training completion certificates in order — these carry the claim.
  • Prepare the claim. Compile the application form along with proof of training, expense invoices and employee details.
  • File the application. Submit it to the designated authority of the Government of Chhattisgarh, normally through the state's online portal or the relevant department office. The first claim is generally made one year after the employee's appointment.
  • Verification and disbursement. The authorities verify the claim, and once approved the reimbursement is released as per the policy terms.
