Selection process
Everything runs online through the Shilpasathi Portal, and the process is a single continuous application rather than a pitch round.
- Register: on Shilpasathi, choose 'Apply Online'; new users select 'Create New'. Pick the applicant type (Industry / Business / Commercial / Charitable Society / Government entity), enter the registration number, complete the mandatory fields on the 'User Registration' page and click 'Register'.
- Log in: sign in with username and password, or through an OTP sent to the registered mobile number, to reach the user dashboard.
- Select the service: under 'ALL SERVICES', choose 'MSME Incentive'.
- Create the CAF: click 'Create CAF' to generate a CAF ID, then 'Apply Online'.
- Eligibility form: fill it in and click 'Save and Continue' to reach the common application form (CAF).
- Complete the CAF: fill all mandatory fields and click 'Update and Continue' to preview.
- Continue from the dashboard: use 'Click to Proceed' to carry on, 'Save' to store updates, and 'Preview' before final submission.
- Online Form-A: click 'Go to Application' to open the 'Online Form - A' application.
- Declare subsidy items: in the 'APPLY SUBSIDY' section, check year-wise subsidy items for the application you are filing, then 'SAVE'.
- Fill subsidy details: in the 'FILL UP SUBSIDY' tab, provide year-wise subsidy details; use 'Add More' to record a multi-year or year-wise breakup.
- Submit: upload the relevant documents, preview the details, click 'VERIFY & SUBMIT', tick the declaration box and click 'Submit Application'.
- Reference number: on final submission of Form-A, you receive an application reference number, which you use to track status.
Eligibility is assessed from the eligibility form and the CAF, and the subsidy item details along with the uploaded documents are verified by the relevant authorities before approval.
Filing window: the first application must be filed within 12 months from the DOCCP, or within 12 months from the date the Banglashree scheme was notified — whichever is later.
