Assam Scale-Up Grant — up to ₹50L for MASI Startups — Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the Assam Scale-Up Grant, startups must meet the following criteria:

• The startup must possess a valid MASI (My Start-up Assam ID), officially issued by the Department of Innovation, Incubation and Start-ups, Government of Assam.
• The entity must be legally registered as a Private Limited Company, Partnership Firm, Limited Liability Partnership (LLP), or One Person Company.
• At the time of application, the startup should be within 7 years of its incorporation date. For startups in the biotechnology sector, this period extends to within 10 years.
• The startup's annual turnover must not have surpassed ₹25 crore in any preceding financial year.
• The startup's core activities must involve the innovation, development, deployment, or commercialization of new technology, or be focused on IP-driven products, processes, or services.
• The company must either be incorporated in Assam or ensure that at least 50% of its total qualified workforce is employed within Assam.
• The startup must not be an extension, split, or reconstruction of an existing business, which includes family-owned enterprises.
• Final eligibility for grant disbursement will be assessed by Nodal Agencies, adhering to the operating guidelines stipulated under the Assam Startup Policy.

Assam Scale-Up Grant — up to ₹50L for MASI Startups is open to startups at the product and revenue stage. The programme is targeted at startups registered in Assam. Applicants should be registered as private limited, llp and partnership.
