ANKURAN - R-ABI Agri-Entrepreneurship Orientation Program

The ANKURAN program, an initiative under RKVY-RAFTAAR, supports individuals developing agricultural innovations from concept to product. It focuses on the agriculture and allied sectors. This program is designed to guide innovators through the process of bringing their ideas to fruition.

The program begins with an intensive one-month Agri-Entrepreneurship Orientation. Following this, participants receive support for prototype development. Those selected for residency-based training are provided with a monthly stipend of ₹10,000.

Successful projects can secure a non-dilutive grant of up to ₹5 lakh. This grant covers 90% of project expenses and is intended for activities such as product refinement, testing, market trials, and initial market entry.

ANKURAN welcomes a wide range of agricultural innovations, including those in crops, livestock, food processing, supply chain management, and rural development. Applicants from all educational backgrounds are encouraged, with a focus on the solution's relevance to the agricultural sector. Beneficiaries also gain access to R-ABI's laboratory infrastructure, certification guidance, specialized training, and expert mentorship.

The ANKURAN program is designed for farmers, students, and young individuals based in Uttar Pradesh. Applicants must be developing innovative ideas in the agriculture and allied sectors, specifically at the idea stage with a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of 2 or higher.

Key eligibility requirements include:

• Completion of a mandatory one-month Agri-Entrepreneurship Orientation Program.
• Demonstration of consistent progress throughout the program.
• Not already receiving grants for the identical project from other Government of India ministries.
• While initial application is possible without a registered entity, funding recipients must establish a legal entity such as a Private Limited Company, LLP, or Partnership firm.
