Selection process

There is no competitive shortlisting round described here. An application is tested against the scheme's eligibility conditions and against the nature of the textile manufacturing project being proposed.

The decisive checkpoint is lender sanction. A project moves forward only if it has already been approved and sanctioned by a Central Financial Institution, a Commercial Bank or a State Financial Institution — a requirement that establishes both the project's financial viability and its conformity with established banking norms.

After that, the Directorate of Textiles issues the certificates the scheme requires — Registration, Date of Commencement and Eligibility — once every arrangement and condition set out in the scheme guidelines has been satisfied.

Subsidy money is released only when all scheme parameters have been met and verification has been completed successfully.
