How to Apply for UP Textile & Garmenting Facilities Subsidy — 25% Cost, Up to ₹2.5 Cr

Applications are assessed in stages by the authorities designated under the UP Textile and Garmenting Policy 2022.

• Initial screening: The application is checked against the general eligibility conditions and for completeness of the documents submitted.
• Technical review: A technical committee may examine the proposed project — what facility is being built, the estimated costs, and how it would affect the unit's operations as well as the wider textile sector.
• Recommendation: The committee's assessment is forwarded to a higher authority.
• Final approval: The approving authority takes the decision, weighing compliance with the policy guidelines and the merit of the facility being proposed.

Once approved, the unit implements the project as per the approved plan and then files a reimbursement claim with proof of expenditure, completion certificates and any other documents the department requires for verification.
