There is no competition, pitch or shortlisting here. Once a claim is filed, the MSME Department of the Government of Uttar Pradesh reviews it administratively against the terms of the Uttar Pradesh MSME Promotion Policy 2022.

• The unit engages a certified auditor for the relevant green practices, environmental, energy or water conservation audit.
• The audit is completed and paid for, and the supporting paperwork is assembled.
• The reimbursement claim is submitted with proof of MSME registration, original invoices from the audit service provider and the audit reports.
• The department verifies the documents and confirms that the claimed service is one the policy covers.
• Once the requirements are met, the reimbursement is approved.

Approval depends on eligibility and documentation rather than ranking, so completeness and accuracy of the submission matter more than the size of the unit.
