Selection process
This head is not a competition. There is no pitch round and applicants are not ranked against one another.
The Department of Industries and Commerce screens each claim against the TIIPIS 2022 continuation clause. For a claim to be considered at all, the unit must have completed five years of operation.
GST claims are verified at 25% of net GST actually paid, and checked against the lifetime aggregate limit of 150% of plant-and-machinery investment.
Power claims are verified by connected load: above 20 HP at ₹5.00 per unit with no ceiling, or up to 20 HP at 25% of charges within the ₹15 lakh annual cap, which rises to ₹25 lakh for Thrust Sector Industries.
Employment-cost claims are examined only for MSME enterprises with 20 or more persons, at 50% of the employer EPF and ESI contribution.
A unit can qualify for the GST and power heads without qualifying for the MSME employment line. Each verified head is then reimbursed.
