TN Space Tech Fund by StartupTN is open to product · revenue-stage startups registered in India. DPIIT (Startup India) recognition is required. The full eligibility criteria — qualifying sectors, states and entity types — are below.
Who can apply
To be eligible for the Tamil Nadu Space Tech Fund, startups must meet several key criteria.
Applicants must be DPIIT-recognised and either currently registered in Tamil Nadu or commit to shifting their registered office to Tamil Nadu before any fund disbursement takes place. The program specifically targets startups operating within defined space-tech verticals.
Regarding their funding status, startups must have a lead investor confirmed, or demonstrate that they have successfully raised funds within the past 12 months. Alternatively, a letter of intent from a prospective investor will also be accepted.
Furthermore, all applying startups are required to possess a validated Proof of Concept (PoC). This can be demonstrated through a functional prototype, a successful pilot project, laboratory validation results, or comprehensive test results.
Eligible legal entity types include private limited companies, Limited Liability Partnerships (LLPs), and partnership firms. The fund supports startups at the product and revenue stages of development.
TN Space Tech Fund by StartupTN is open to startups at the product and revenue stage working in space drone defense. The programme is targeted at startups registered in Tamil Nadu. Applicants should be registered as private limited, llp and partnership. Applicants must hold DPIIT (Startup India) recognition.
