Eligibility

TN Space Tech Fund by StartupTN is open to product · revenue-stage startups registered in India. DPIIT (Startup India) recognition is required. The full eligibility criteria — qualifying sectors, states and entity types — are below.

Who can apply

To apply for the TN Space Tech Fund, your startup must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Location: Your startup must be registered in Tamil Nadu, or commit to relocating its registered office to Tamil Nadu before the funds are disbursed.
  • Entity type: You may operate as a private limited company, LLP, or partnership.
  • DPIIT recognition: DPIIT registration is mandatory.
  • Stage: Startups at the product stage or revenue stage are accepted.
  • Industry focus: Your venture must operate in space-tech verticals including satellite technology, GIS, AI for space, orbital logistics, or downstream space applications.
  • Proof of Concept (PoC): A validated PoC is required, which could be a prototype, pilot, lab validation, or test results.
  • Investor interest: You must have either a confirmed lead investor, have raised funds within the last 12 months, or possess a signed letter of intent from a prospective investor.

TN Space Tech Fund by StartupTN is open to startups at the product and revenue stage working in space drone defense. The programme is targeted at startups registered in Tamil Nadu. Applicants should be registered as private limited, llp and partnership. Applicants must hold DPIIT (Startup India) recognition.
