Selection is a multi-stage exercise rather than a single form review.

1. Application screening. Submitted forms are read closely by the TiE Nurture Program Management team together with a selection committee made up of experienced entrepreneurs and industry veterans.
2. Shortlisting. Ventures are shortlisted on the strength of their business model, market potential, team and how well they fit what the programme is designed to deliver.
3. Further assessment. Shortlisted companies may be invited to a deeper round — a detailed interview or a pitch delivered to the selection committee and a panel of mentors and investors.
4. Final selection. The last call is a holistic one, weighing the startup's growth potential, how committed the founders are, and how much difference the Nurture programme is likely to make to their journey.
