Applicants must be permanently resident in Assam and must belong to the Tea Tribes and Adivasi communities. They need to be self-employed youths aged between 20 and 35 years as on 1st January of the application year, and their family must own less than 10 bighas of land. An applicant must also not have availed a similar benefit in the last three years.

Register as a new user, log in, select the scheme from the dashboard dropdown, fill in your personal details and save the form, upload your documents, enter and save your bank details, then review everything under 'Preview Application' and submit. Keep the application number generated at submission so you can track progress under the 'APPLICATION STATUS' tab.

Applications are screened against the core eligibility conditions first, including residency, community, age, self-employed status and landholding, along with the three-year benefit rule and the one-applicant-per-family limit. Candidates who have completed at least three months of skills training in the relevant trade are given preference, and candidates with physical disability receive due weightage as per government norms. A committee of officials from the Tea Tribes and Adivasi Welfare Department then evaluates the qualifying submissions to select the beneficiaries.
