How to Apply for Special Subsidy for Anchor Units (CG) — Extra 5% on ₹200 Cr+ ITeS Investment

Proposals are examined by a high-level committee put together by the Chhattisgarh government, which reviews whether a project actually meets the scheme's conditions.

The committee's assessment centres on a few points:

• whether the proposed Fixed Capital Investment crosses the ₹200 crore threshold
• whether the project genuinely belongs to the ITeS or Data Centres sectors
• what the unit is likely to contribute to the state's economy and to employment

Since the benefit is available to only five anchor units, applications are likely to be weighed either competitively or on a first-come, first-served basis until that quota is filled. The application itself moves through the procedure laid down in the Special Package for Large Enterprises in ITeS & Data Centres Sector policy document, with submissions going to the designated nodal agency in Chhattisgarh.
