Seed Funding for Startups is open to idea · product-stage startups registered in India. DPIIT (Startup India) recognition is required. The full eligibility criteria — qualifying sectors, states and entity types — are below.
Who can apply
To be eligible for the Seed Funding for Startups program, applicants must meet several key criteria:
- The startup must possess valid DPIIT recognition, confirming its official status as an innovative startup by the Government of India.
- It must be formally registered and actively operating in Haryana, with its primary office or crucial R&D facilities located within the state.
- Eligible legal entity types include Private Limited Companies, Limited Liability Partnerships (LLPs), or registered Partnerships.
- The startup must have been incorporated within the specific eligible period stipulated by the Haryana Startup Policy 2022.
- Applicants are required to secure a recommendation from a recognized incubator operating in Haryana or obtain explicit approval from the Empowered Committee.
- Crucially, the startup must not have previously received similar seed funding from any other state or central government scheme, ensuring equitable distribution of support.
Seed Funding for Startups is open to startups at the idea, product and revenue stage. The programme is targeted at startups registered in Haryana. Applicants should be registered as private limited, llp and partnership. Applicants must hold DPIIT (Startup India) recognition.
