FAQ

Answers to the questions founders most often ask about RAMP Intervention 3: ₹15L IPO Subsidy for SME Exchange Listing — DNH&DD — who qualifies, the funding amount, required documents and how the application works.

Frequently asked questions

How much money does RAMP Intervention 3 give an SME?

The scheme sanctions a one-time subsidy of up to ₹15,00,000. If the amount you actually spent on raising capital is lower than that, you receive the lower figure. The payment follows a successful equity raise through an SME Exchange.

Which expenses can the subsidy be used for?

It covers the cost of listing and going public. That includes the initial and annual listing fees charged by the exchange, statutory and regulatory payments such as SEBI filing fees, ROC filing fees and stamp duty, professional fees for legal advisors, auditors, registrars to the issue, merchant bankers and company secretaries, and other miscellaneous IPO-related costs.

Who is eligible to apply for this assistance?

Your enterprise must be Udyam registered and operating in the UT of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. It must be a Private Limited or Public Limited company with a CIN, and it must already be listed on NSE Emerge or BSE SME with a listing approval letter in hand. Manufacturing and service enterprises in any industry qualify, and both new and existing businesses can apply.

Is Udyam or MSME registration required? Is DPIIT recognition needed?

Udyam registration is compulsory and is listed as one of the conditions for this intervention, along with having operations in the UT of DNH&DD. DPIIT recognition does not appear among the conditions set out for this assistance, so it is not something you need for this particular scheme.

Does the scheme take equity or a stake in my company?

No. This is a subsidy, not an investment. The UT Administration gives a one-time financial assistance towards your listing expenses and takes no equity or ownership in return.

Which stock exchange must my company be listed on?

The company has to be listed on either NSE Emerge or BSE SME and must hold an SME exchange listing approval letter. This intervention is specifically built around the SME Exchange route.

Can I apply before my company gets listed?

No. The application for assistance has to be submitted after the date of listing on the SME Exchange, and it must also fall within the operative period of the scheme guidelines. Your SME status is assessed as on the date of listing.

Is there a deadline to apply, and how are applications prioritised?

There is no fixed closing date — applications are accepted on a rolling basis. However, they are processed first-come, first-served and are subject to the availability of funds, so it helps to apply early.

How do I apply, and how long does the process take?

Apply online through the portal at http://swp.dddgov.in/. Fill in the prescribed application form at Annexure I for the relevant component and upload the documents listed in Annexure II. The application is submitted online to the General Manager, District Industries Centre (DIC). Once complete documents are in, the department aims to process the application within 90 days.

How is the application evaluated and the money released?

After online submission, the UT RAMP Programme Committee scrutinises and verifies the application. Based on its recommendation, the District Industries Centre issues a sanction order to the approved SME. The sanctioned amount is then credited to the applicant's Loan or Cash Credit account through RTGS/NEFT.
