Selection process
There is no separate competition for the booster — it is assessed as part of the Asset Creation Incentive application, using the enterprise's own investment and hiring figures.
- The applicant files for the ACI together with the linked Employment Booster, through the channels prescribed in the RIPS 2024 policy.
- The enterprise's asset creation is examined to establish the base ACI amount.
- The employment generated is verified against the figures the enterprise has submitted.
- Verified employment is then matched to the slab structure set out in the policy — 1.5x to under 2x, 2x to under 2.5x, or 2.5x and above the minimum threshold.
- The slab arrived at decides whether 10%, 12.5% or 15% is added to the ACI.
