• Step 1 — Get the form. Register the claim by downloading the prescribed application form from the official website of the Directorate of Industries and Commerce, Puducherry.
• Step 2 — Fill it in. Complete every mandatory field accurately and self-attest the required supporting documents.
• Step 3 — Submit. Hand over the signed form with all attachments to the concerned authority at the Industries Department, keeping the papers properly organised.
• Step 4 — Take an acknowledgement. Ask for a receipt or acknowledgement showing the date and time of submission and, ideally, a unique identification number for tracking.
