How to Apply for Market Development Support Assistance: ₹5L Puducherry Trade Fair Subsidy

There is no pitch or interview round. Applications are assessed on merit in two stages.

• Scrutiny by the Directorate of Industries. Each application is examined to confirm whether the unit qualifies and to work out how much assistance is admissible under the scheme.
• State Level Committee. The application, together with the Directorate's recommendation, is then placed before the State Level Committee. That committee reviews the merits of the case, decides whether the incentive will be granted, and recommends the exact quantum of financial assistance.
