How to Apply for Infrastructure Development Subsidy for IT/ITES — Up to ₹1 Crore in Puducherry

Each application goes through a two-tier review rather than being cleared on filing.

• Scrutiny by the Directorate of Industries. Applications are examined for adherence to the eligibility criteria, and the supporting documents are verified. This stage also weighs the quantum of investment made and whether the project is genuinely aligned with IT/ITES infrastructure development.
• State Level Committee. Cases that clear the initial screening are placed before the State Level Committee, along with the recommended quantum of admissible subsidy. The committee evaluates the merits of each case and confirms that the unit qualifies under the scheme guidelines.

The State Level Committee's recommendation is final. It settles both whether the unit is eligible and the specific amount of subsidy to be granted.
