How to Apply for Development of Coir — Puducherry's 15% Raw Material Subsidy (Up to ₹5L)

Applications are processed offline and in sequence, starting the moment they reach the District Industries Centre.

• Registration on receipt: your application form and supporting documents are entered into a register, and a unique identification number is assigned to you. That number is both your official acknowledgment and the reference for any future correspondence.
• Document review: the concerned authority reviews the documents you have submitted.
• Eligibility check: your unit is checked against the eligibility conditions laid down in the scheme guidelines.
• Approval: only genuine coir industry units that clear verification receive the financial support for raw material procurement.

To start the process, download and print the prescribed form from the official website, fill in every mandatory field, affix a passport-sized photograph as required, and self-attest and attach copies of all the documents asked for. Then visit the District Industries Centre (Thattanchavady, Puducherry – 605 009) on a working day, during office hours, and submit the signed form with the attachments to the concerned authority.
