Selection process
Applications undergo an initial screening by KSUM officials. Shortlisted applicants then present their idea and fund utilisation plan before an Expert Committee, which evaluates team capabilities, product innovation, market potential, financial projections, and the feasibility of the utilisation plan. Recommendations are submitted for final approval to the CEO/Chairman of KSUM. Approved startups must submit required documents and sign an agreement with KSUM before fund release.
Funds are released in milestone-based tranches—typically 50% initially, followed by the balance after a satisfactory progress review and submission of an audited utilisation certificate.
