Does the scheme take equity in my business?
No. The assistance is structured as a subsidy, which is non-dilutive. The government does not acquire any share or ownership stake in the ice plant or cold store you build — the asset remains entirely yours.
Do I need DPIIT or MSME registration to apply?
The eligibility conditions set out for this component do not include DPIIT recognition or MSME registration. What they do require is Haryana residency, a valid Parivar Pehchan Patra, control of the project land through ownership or a registered lease of at least 10 years, and the operational undertakings described in the scheme conditions.
