How to Apply for PMKSY Agro Processing Cluster Top-up — ₹1 Cr Andhra Pradesh Subsidy

Approval begins with the central sanction, since the state top-up cannot move forward without it.

• Step 1 — Secure PMKSY sanction. The agro processing cluster project must first receive official sanction from the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana. This is the prerequisite for the state top-up.
• Step 2 — Study the policy document. Download the "OG-For-AP-IDP-MSME-EDP-FPP-(4.0)-2024-29.pdf" from the Andhra Pradesh Industries website and read Section 5.2e along with the application forms and annexures attached to this incentive.
• Step 3 — Assemble the application. Prepare the required paperwork, which typically includes the PMKSY sanction letter, a detailed project report, financial statements, proof of incorporation, land records and other relevant clearances.
• Step 4 — Submit. File the complete application with the designated department within the Andhra Pradesh Department of Industries. Submission generally happens through an online portal or in physical form to the District Industries Centre (DIC) or the relevant state-level authority.
• Step 5 — Scrutiny and approval. The department examines the application, and eligible projects are forwarded to the competent authority for approval.
• Step 6 — Disbursement. Once approved, the subsidy is paid in instalments over a 5-year period as per policy guidelines, usually linked to project milestones or to commencement of operations.
