Selection process
Opsimius is decided across three online rounds.
Round 1 — Quiz. Teams answer 25 questions, which may be multiple-choice or subjective, drawn from operations management and supply chain topics. The quiz is timed at 20 minutes and is taken on the Unstop platform.
Round 2 — Case submission. Teams that clear the quiz receive a case study and must work out a solution. The deliverable is a PPT of at most 5 slides, not counting the title slide, with up to 3 additional slides or an Excel file permitted for supporting information. Judges evaluate understanding of the problem, innovativeness, feasibility of the proposed solution and clarity of thought. The top 8 teams progress.
Final Round — Presentation. The shortlisted teams present their proposal to a panel of judges. The exact timings and the mode of this final presentation are communicated closer to the festival date.
