Selection process

The scheme is administered as a verification-led process rather than a competitive pitch, and it follows four broad steps.

  • Application submission: an enterprise that qualifies under IDP 4.0 files its Net SGST Reimbursement application with the designated department of Andhra Pradesh Industries.
  • Documentation: the file typically has to carry proof of the unit's Sub-Large or Large status, its SGST payment records, annual turnover statements, and details of its eligible Fixed Capital Investment. The exact formats and checklists are set out in the official policy guidelines.
  • Review and verification: the department examines the application to confirm eligibility and to validate the claimed SGST amount, the turnover figures and the FCI details. Financial statements may be scrutinised and site visits may form part of this stage.
  • Approval and disbursement: once verification is complete and the claim is approved, reimbursement is released on an annual basis for five years, continuing only while the enterprise remains eligible and performs as claimed.
