Selection process

Entry and selection run in clear stages, from registration through to a final judged presentation.

  • Step 1 — Register on Unstop: complete your team's payment and registration on the Unstop listing.
  • Step 2 — Fill the Private Luma Form: this second form is mandatory after the Unstop step.
  • Step 3 — Approval and QR code: once your payment is verified manually, an approval and QR code is sent to your registered email. Approvals are processed daily from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
  • Step 4 — Choose a problem statement: teams pick one from the curated list released by the organisers.
  • Step 5 — Build the prototype: the hackathon runs as a single continuous offline phase, during which teams develop a functional prototype within the given timeframe.
  • Step 6 — Present to the judges: at the close of the event, each team presents its solution to a panel drawn from industry and academia.

How projects are evaluated: innovation, technical execution, relevance to the chosen problem, scalability, user experience and the quality of the presentation.
