Aethronix 2026 — National Hackathon with ₹60,000 Prizes & Internships — Frequently Asked Questions

It is a national-level hackathon held by MVSR Engineering College (MVSREC) in Hyderabad. Students and technology enthusiasts from across India take part, selecting a problem statement from the organisers' curated list and building a functional prototype. The event runs as one continuous offline phase and closes with team presentations in front of a judging panel.

The organisers have put up a total prize pool of ₹60,000, which is shared among the winning teams — the headline figure is up to ₹60,000. Beyond the cash, the best performers receive internships, and all teams are given guidance and resources to improve their ideas and implementations.

Aethronix 2026 is open to students and technology enthusiasts anywhere in India. You participate as a team of 2 to 4 members, and everything you submit must be original work built entirely during the hackathon. The organisers do not require a particular college affiliation, a company or any registration beyond your team entry.

The deadline is April 16, 2026. Your Unstop payment and registration, followed by the Private Luma Form, must be completed before that date. Approvals are issued daily from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

There are four. AI & Data Science for Smart Solutions (AIDS) covers predictive modelling and intelligent decision systems. Cybersecurity focuses on next-gen cyber defense and digital trust. Web Development is about scalable, intelligent web experiences with strong UI/UX. Web3 covers decentralised applications such as smart contracts, DeFi, NFTs, decentralised identity and peer-to-peer systems. Each team chooses one track.

No. Nothing in the eligibility criteria asks for DPIIT recognition, MSME registration or an incorporated company. The only stated requirement is that you register as a team of 2 to 4 members and submit original work developed during the hackathon.

No. Aethronix 2026 is a competition, not an investor. Teams compete for a share of the ₹60,000 prize pool and for internships, and no equity or ownership stake is exchanged.

Two steps. First, complete payment and registration on Unstop. Second, fill in the Private Luma Form. After your payment is manually verified, an approval and QR code is sent to your registered email, which confirms your participation.

It is in person. Aethronix 2026 is conducted as a single continuous offline phase, so teams need to be physically present to build their prototype and present it at the end of the event.

Judges score each team on innovation, technical execution, how relevant the solution is to the chosen problem, scalability, user experience and the quality of the final presentation.
