Selection process

Once you submit your application online, it goes to the concerned Gramin Vikas Vibhag (Rural Development Department) for verification.

If any inconsistency (visangati) is found in the details, you get a single opportunity to set it right. The intimation asking you to correct the discrepancy is sent to you by SMS.

After the application clears verification — including any correction it needed — the applicant is issued an Identification Card (parichay patra) and a Certificate (praman patra). Together these confirm that eligibility has been accepted and that the earlier stages of the scheme have been completed.

Loan disbursement is then facilitated through the bank. For an applicant establishing a new business, it depends on having completed any required training, such as the Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP).
