Selection process

Applications for the SEED Scheme are made entirely online through the MeghalayaOne portal. The journey runs as follows:

  • Step 1 — Citizen Registration for a Member ID: a new user opens the "Registration for New User" section on the portal and reads through the instructions before beginning.
  • Step 2 — Pick an authentication ID: the applicant chooses from options such as the PDS (ration card) or the Election Photo ID Card (EPIC).
  • Step 3 — Identity verification: the card number is entered and the name is selected from the list displayed. Matching details are accepted; if they do not match, the EPIC number has to be keyed in manually and validated.
  • Step 4 — Complete the form and upload documents: the detailed application is filled in with personal and project information, and supporting papers — proof of residency, age and experience, along with project details — are uploaded. Everything should be reviewed carefully before submission, after which a unique application number is generated.
  • Step 5 — Sign in (returning users): existing applicants log in using their mobile number, PDS, EPIC or Member ID.
  • Step 6 — Open the scheme: from the dashboard, the applicant clicks "Apply for Services/Scheme".
  • Step 7 — Final submission: the remaining details are filled in, documents uploaded and the information reviewed once more before the form is submitted.
