How to Apply for Maharashtra Technology Upgradation Subsidy — ₹25L for MSMEs

Applications are assessed by a committee from the Department of Industries, Government of Maharashtra, which reviews each proposal against the scheme's requirements.

• Completeness and eligibility check — the committee first confirms the applicant is an eligible MSME and that the submission is complete.
• Review of the upgradation proposal — the technology upgradation plan is examined, and the details of the capital equipment being claimed are verified.
• Policy conformity — officials check that the proposal adheres to the guidelines of the Maharashtra Industries Investment and Services Policy 2025, including Section 4.1.1 (A).
• Approval and disbursal — once approved, the subsidy is processed and released in tranches over five years, as the policy provides.
