Selection process
Every application is reviewed by the authorities within the Maharashtra Industries Department against the conditions laid down in the Maharashtra Industries Investment and Services Policy 2025.
The assessment rests mainly on two checks:
- Confirming that the applicant is genuinely a new MSME unit.
- Verifying that the unit is established in an industrial area categorised as Group D, D+, or below in Maharashtra.
Alongside these, the department examines whether the applicant meets all the other terms and conditions attached to the policy. Applications first pass through an initial screening and evaluation stage, and only units that clear both the screening and the subsequent verification are granted the subsidy.
