Applications are submitted on the official portal. Confirm the current deadline and document checklist there before you start.

Selection process

Applications are submitted online through the MAITRI portal (maitri.mahaonline.gov.in). The process involves:

  1. Registering the industrial unit on the MAITRI portal.
  2. Filing an application for an Eligibility Certificate (EC) with the District Industries Centre (DIC) or MIDC office.
  3. Submitting project documents: investment proof, CA-certified FCI statement, GSTIN, incorporation certificate, and taluka classification details.
  4. Awaiting EC issuance confirming the eligible incentive basket and period.
  5. Claiming IPS (SGST refund) annually via the DIC after filing GST returns.
  6. Submitting interest subsidy claims to the lending bank with EC and loan statements.
  7. Applying for electricity tariff subsidy through MSEDCL with EC (if in an eligible district).
