Selection process
Applications move through the framework of the Maharashtra Industries Investment and Services Policy 2025, and the route runs in a fixed order.
- Certification first. The MSME secures a recognised green building certification from an approved certification body for its premises or project.
- Application submission. The unit prepares and files a detailed application form, usually through the MAITRI portal or the relevant District Industries Centre (DIC) website.
- Scrutiny. The full application package is examined by the government department handling the scheme, which checks that the applicant meets the eligibility conditions and that the documents submitted are authentic.
- Disbursement. Once verification and approval are complete, the certification fees are paid back straight into the MSME's bank account.
