Selection process

Applications are assessed against the eligibility conditions set out in the Maharashtra Industries Investment and Services Policy 2025. The route runs as follows:

Documents submitted with the application are scrutinised in detail.
Authorities verify that the unit is a new, eligible MSME.
The unit's location is checked against the correct industrial group — A, B, C, D, D+ or below.
For export-oriented units, the DGFT-certified export turnover of at least 50% is verified.
For women-, SC-, ST- and PwD-owned units, ownership and workforce composition are both checked.
The application is evaluated against the policy's guidelines to settle the incentive period.
